Beta testing is the process of implementing or introducting a new idea or system or a product with a selected group of people or processes in a controlled environment. Beta testers identify problems and those problems are corrected and then the complete product or system is introduced to the entire target audience or processes. Through beta testing we can significantly reduce inherent costs and risks associated with launching an unproven product to the market.
