Today, when I used an Axis Bank ATM, I noticed a nice UX design incorporated within the ATM machine’s transaction workflow. The machine is displaying available currency denominations in the machine. I have not noticed this feature in any of the other bank’s machine till now.
This feature is particularly very useful to avoid repeated transaction attempts to obtain required denominations and there by saving lot of time for the users. Often we attempt to enter amounts with an objective of getting different small denominations, but if that denomination is not there in the machine we will get to know it only at the end saying ‘unable to dispense the entered amount’ or some other similar message. Then the user has to repeat the transaction to get another higher denomination or a different denomination.
